Sisters of Court Daughters of Mary, our Sisters of Court of Salve Regina at St. Mark Catholic Church have extended an invitation to their Annual Advent Prayer Breakfast - the note from their Most Worthy Regent is below:
My name is Shirley Royster. I am the Most Worthy Regent of CDA Court of Salve Regina #2611 at St. Mark Catholic Church in Argyle/ Denton, Texas. Do you realize that Christmas is less than 50 days away? It's the season for shopping, cleaning, cooking, wrapping, baking, and numerous other activities that go along with the season. We all become Marthas hoping to get it all done. Well, it is also the season of Advent, a time when we spiritually prepare for the birth of our Savior. Every year , our court has an Advent Prayer Breakfast the first Saturday of Advent. We invite all women to take a Saturday morning and be a Mary. We invite you to spiritually prepare for the season with Faith, Fellowship, Fun, Food, and a Truly Inspirational Program. This year our Advent Prayer Breakfast is on Saturday, December 7, 9 AM to 12 Noon, at Denton Country Club. Tickets are $25 each and are on sale now until November 22.
