Christian Connection

St. Michael provides assistance to parishioners and the greater community through financial help, counseling services, educational preparation programs and more.

Christian Connection is one of the social ministry outreach programs of St. Michael Catholic Church helping our parishioners and individuals living in the cities of Bedford and Euless.  Funded by contributions from our parishioners, Christian Connection provides temporary, emergency assistance for rent, utilities, minor miscellaneous expense and minor car repair. Pharmacy, gas and food vouchers are available.  Assistance is limited to twice in a twelve month period of time.

  • During this time of dealing with the Coronavirus, we can be helpful to the agencies supplying people with the basics.
  • Tell your neighbors about the help available in our area
  • Donate funds for supplies to the organizations listed below. (If you are donating, please take your supplies to their office).
  • If you are available to help, please call the agencies or check the website for their most current needs.

Distribution:  preparing meals and feeding the homeless (They come to The Project to pickup food Tu-Fri 2-6)  and Pay-As-You-Can and Pay-It-Forward (Call in orders for the public to pickup and pay with an opportunity to make a donation – Pay it Forward)

Current need:  Donations of funds, donations of non-perishable foods and home supplies.  If you want to volunteer, call the office and find out how you can help.

HEB Transit – If you are under the age of 55 and need transportation Monday through Friday to get to work, you may obtain HEB Transit passes through Christian Connection.  Please call 817.510.2741 or stop by our office Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. - noon for more information.

Catholic Charities also provides financial assistance through long-term case management.  A caseworker is available on-site.  To make an appointment, please call 817.921.5381.
