St. Michael Catholic Church

Catholic Daughters

The Catholic Daughters of the Americas - Court Daughters of Mary #2755 invite all Catholic women 18 years and older!

Monthly meetings are typically on the 2nd Monday at 7:00 PM (no meeting in July), with a Rosary at 6:30 PM.

The next meeting is Monday, October 14.

Thanks to all who supported our fundraiser on August 20 at On The Border.  We appreciate your support!

CDA Mass Cards

Masses will be said in Houston, Texas, on the first Friday of the month, for one year, by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas Associate State Chaplain, Father Victor Perez.  A donation of $3.00 is requested.  Masses will not be celebrated at St. Michael and should not be confused with our parish Mass cards.  Please call Dotty Vanicek at 817.805.1018 and arrangements will be made to deliver the cards to you.   The funds collected are used to award scholarships to graduating seniors who are either JCDA or related to CDA members.

Catholic Daughters of the Americas (CDA) are hosting monthly meetings to make rosaries to donate.

The next meeting is Saturday, October 5,  9:15 AM to Noon.

We welcome all who would enjoy fellowship and learning to make rosaries.  You do not have to be a member of CDA to attend.  We do ask that you click HERE to RSVP for the event.  If you have any questions, or need additional information, contact Chris at 817.925.4542 or at chrisdelmolino@gmail.com.

Broken Rosary?

If you have an old or broken rosary, or a rosary you no longer use, and you don't know what to do with, the Catholic Daughters of the Americas (CDA) Rosary Ministry will use your old rosary to make new rosaries from the beads, the medals, and the crucifixes.  Just put them in the rosary donation box, on the round table in the Narthex, and we will treat your rosary with reverence and care.

2024 Scholarship Application is closed.
Scholarship recipients were announced at our June 10 meeting.  Congratulations to our three scholarship recipients!

Court Daughters of Mary Standing Rules:

Which Charities should our court support?

As a Court with a mission of Unity and charity, our Court needs to decide which of our National and State Catholic Daughters projects/charities we want to allocate funds from our budget to. As a beginning court, it was recommended that we select two National projects and two State projects and we need all of the members' inputs.
