Vegetable Garden
The vegetable garden, at the north end of the church campus, is planted, maintained, and harvested by a team of dedicated volunteers. This team also helps maintain an attractive appearance of the grounds surrounding the garden. A portion of the harvest is donated to parishioners and is available, when in season, on a table in the Narthex.

- communicates pertinent info to NL, as needed

- manages garden donations and budget
- provides updated reports
- Historian-
- keeps written records on successful endeavors, planting dates, history of diseases/pests, amendments to soil; what worked and what didn’t
- shares with NL to send out to all members
- Newsletter and technology- Katharine Norman
- sends weekly newsletter
- compiles reports from other team members
- maintains Stewardship Pro
- responds to email
- sends out voting forms and surveys
- New member outreach- Jennifer Patel
- contacts potential new members to welcome them to the garden ministry and invite them to events
- new member spotlights
- Harvest and Plant- Weldon Norman
- determines and implements methods for soil improvement
- determines planting and harvest schedule
- determines methods for weeding and pest control
- Irrigation- Kathy Adams
- monitors the garden and ensures it is appropriately watered
- provides sign ups, as needed
- Produce distribution- Ofel Cordero
- provides a schedule of produce distribution for Masses/parish events
- coordinates distribution of produce
- maintains produce table, as needed
