What does poverty mean to you?

Join us for a  K NO W  Poverty Hour on November 5, 2018, to find out what it means to us, those we serve, and how we plan to end it.

We are trying to get the word out about Catholic Charities work in the community so that more people know about their programs and services. We want to engage with those interested in addressing issues right here in our community and beyond.

We invite you to join us for a one-hour program and tour we call our K NO W  Poverty Hour  that will allow you to see the work of Catholic Charities firsthand. During this time, you will meet one of the agency’s visionary leaders and some of the great staff. You won’t be asked to make any financial contribution, but your tour guide will call you afterwards to ask your advice and feedback.

The KNOW Poverty Hour session is designed to increase awareness of poverty in our area and engage the community in our efforts to end it. Essentially, we want to KNOW all we can about poverty, so there is NO  poverty!

Dinner and the KNOW Poverty Hour session will be in the Great Hall at St. Michael Catholic Church, 3713 E Harwood Rd, Bedford, TX 76021 on Monday, November 5 ^th 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM. The event is not recommended for children under 16, due to the sensitive nature of some of the stories.
